Construction Details:

I decided to do a darker themed coloration vs the gold version shown in the anime, so I would contrast more with Cassy in her white and gold as Suu. The base skirting is made out of casa satin and is sponge painted with a silver to give a more textured feel. Over the black I layered several layers of a grey chiffon. Within the grey chiffon layers I added a multitude of vine leaves. The top was made out of a strapless black bra, black casa, fun polka dot lining, and some hand painted silver bias tape. The top is fully lined and boned and corsets up the back to support the wings. The gloves are just simple black satin gloves that are sponged with a slight silver. The topppers for the gloves and the necklace are made from several layers of foamy that are detailed with googlie eyes, wire, and buttons to give a mechanic look to them. The wings are a sheer chiffon draped and glued over a steel base, with the vein details hand painted on.
