Construction Details:

this costume turned out to be more troublesome than i would've liked it to have been. My biggest issue that i ran into is that after pleating the purple and white squares, i anted to press them nicely before attaching it to the top. unfortunately i used steam and very warm setting and it caused the purple fabric to bleed onto the white, thus i had to remake the skirt =( Also the skirt section and the top did not fit together very easily, the skirt was a much larger circumference than the top, so i really had to manipulate it to get it to work. the easiest part of the costume was definitely the straps- i even made my own white trim for the stripe on it XD!
