It's a nice, small con. I found myself bored most of the time, honestly, but that actually encouraged me to go to panels, something I don't really do so much, and I'm glad I did- the cosplay and lolita panels were pretty good, and this con has a lot more to offer in programming than one would expect from a smaller con.
They also had fantastic guests, and the childhood Trekkie in me was elated to meet Wil Wheaton and LeVar Burton, and get pics and autographs from both. I attended the Star Trek and Wil Wheaton panels, and was pleased to find that the main stage (where the biggest events are held) had plenty of seating without lining up ages prior to either panel. It was easy to just walk right in a few minutes before each panel and find a seat- and even if you didn't find a seat, there was plenty of standing room in the back. My mom and I easily got mid-section seats for both panels, which were well-worth going to.
The Dealer's Room honestly didn't have much to offer- I found a few small gunpla gems from one booth (SD Tallgeese and an SD Turn-A with LED's), but other than that it was pretty uninteresting. I was done with it by the end of Thursday Preview Night, and my subsequent rounds on Friday and Saturday didn't produce anything more than that Thursday.
The cosplay scene is largely casuals, so there weren't a whole ton of interesting cosplays to people-watch, and there was nearly nothing in terms of gatherings, though the free Photobooth was a plus for getting a few shots of my own costumes. I missed the Masquerade, but I heard that while the contestants were fab, the show and department were run not so spectacularly, and it was a bit disappointing to hear as I'd been considering entering otherwise.
All in all, it's a good casual con and I think if I go again, it'll be for a single Saturday.
