    Epic Cosplay is great for Long wigs because their fibers (though a bit shiny) are smooth and easy to work with.

    I LOVE EPIC COSPLAY! this wig rarely tangles and is so soft and easy to brush out. the curls have survived through many a convention and roadtrip without maintenance!

    I really like the wig. Styling it was a bit difficult (a bit too heat resistant, since I couldn't even curl it with my flat iron), but otherwise it looked pretty natural, and was of great quality.

    I used this tutorial for the wig.

    I layered the geled 30" wefts on top of each other (this takes a lot of time and patience with all the glue I managed to use) so it'd cover the tape and instead of long twist ties, I used wire (though it's a pain in the butt to keep the two wire in each pigtail close together) that was sandwiched between clear tape. I took a brush to apply the all-purpose glue to stick on the wefts. I think it's a total of 6-8 layers of wefts!

    Remember to gel the wefts so they don't go bonkers, and most of all, wait for it to dry before bending it and all that!

    For ALA, I decided to redo one of the pigtails, same method. Then I layered and geled the bangs (everyone seems to forget this...) and with the help of my partnered Vincent cosplayer Anthony, got my pigtails sewn in. Too bad one of them didn't stay on properly, so I'll be trying to find another way for that to stay in!

    The base wig for this costume (36" long straight) is by far the thickest long wig that I have ever seen or worked with; it is amazing! The fiber is really soft and doesn't seem to tangle as much as other long wigs do. The color is really rich and beautiful too. The wig cap also fits perfectly, and I didn't need nearly as many pins to secure it as I might have with other wigs.
