Construction Details:

I improved on the design and fabric of Viral I, using stretch cotton. The shoes were surf-socks covered in fabric, the leggings are fabric covered in sports tape. The wig and hands are from Partyland (RIP), and the teeth were made from fake nails.

Personal Thoughts:

Upon learning Ellome had a Cytomander costume, I decided to remake my entire Viral costume for Yaoi-Con 2009. In a now-legendary feat, I did in fact manage to do it - with only a handheld sewing machine. Not to mention that I had a terrible work deadline at the same time, after work I went back and sewed/glued/pinned the reminder of the costume, and then, at 9:30PM, decided to undertake the 6 hour drive to San Francisco.

I arrived at the con at 4AM, had a great con and got a few awesome photos with Ellome (who had to be hot-glued into her costume). Pins still hold my costume together.

The next spring I did an extensive Viral photoshoot with my roommate for her photography class, finally capturing that hard work.
