Extra Costume Details by Shii Arisugawa

I started off by making a mock up of the jacket using muslin, so I could draw the appropriate seam lines, cut up the pieces, and add the seam allowances in for the real thing. The stripes on the jacket are applied using Heat'n Bond, while all of the hardware was purchased on Etsy. The utility pouch is probably my favorite part of the costume as it's fully functional, and it's made out of micro suede fabric, black lining fabric, and thick interfacing. I modified the glove and pants, made the arm band from scratch, while the aviators were purchased online. I had fun making the t-shirt, 'cept seam ripping the collar so I could custom dye it, and sew it back on was a bit annoying. lol NOT PICTURED: CAT JEANE
